NC will undertake a new employee engagement survey later this month where staff and faculty will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the college’s workplace culture.
The online Employee Engagement Survey will open on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. We have once again partnered with TalentMap, a company that specializes in employee engagement measurement and benchmarking. You will receive an email from TalentMap inviting you to complete the survey when it is live.
The 2019 Employee Engagement Survey provided valuable insight and demonstrated high levels of engagement across the college. The survey identified areas of strength, as well as areas for growth. The 2019 survey resulted in departmental action plans across the college and these action plans have shaped recent improvements at the college including increased and consistent communications between departments as well as more collaborative approaches and processes.
While there have been significant changes to college operations over the past year, it is still very important to measure employee engagement in our organization, both to gauge our progress from the last survey, and to support our continuous improvement efforts college-wide. Although he survey features some questions specific to operations during the last year, we encourage you to view the survey questions in relation to your overall experience working at Niagara College.
The 2021 Employee Engagement Survey results will help our new executive team develop NC’s new strategic plan. Participation in the Employee Engagement Survey provides an opportunity for all employees and their departments to have their input reflected in the plan and the results will provide the college with valuable insights to shape the long-term strategy and vision.
All feedback given through the survey is completely confidential. No individual responses will be shared with college leadership, only group responses will be shared.
The college is inviting as many staff as possible to participate in this year’s survey. Higher participation rates will lead to more reliable, actionable results.
The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
