The Niagara Dailies published an article on January 29 about the Global Game Jam, held online from Jan. 29 to 31. Typically, students and alumni from NC’s Game Development program participate in the annual multi-day event from the Welland Campus, working together in the spirit of collaboration to design new games in a 48-hour period. This year, the world’s largest game creation event was held virtually using the gaming-focused server Discord.

The article includes quotes from Linda Roote, associate dean of NC’s School of Media, and Game Development professor and alumnus Tom Brown.
