All the cool kids are doing it and so is NC.

The College has officially launched a TikTok page to connect with current and prospective students in an ever-evolving social media landscape.

TikTok, formerly called musical.ly, is a social media platform for making and sharing short videos from genres like dance, comedy, and education. It launched worldwide in 2018 and has grown in popularity, commonly featuring people dancing and lip-synching to popular songs.

Adding TikTok to its social media marketing strategy allows NC’s Marketing team to provide fun and engaging content geared to a younger demographic (18-24), who are the primary users of the platform.

NC marked its first TikTok post with a how-to video showing viewers the steps for sabering a bottle of champagne. Watch NC head winemaker Gavin Robertson as he effortlessly sabers a bottle of the Teaching Winery’s Balance Brut below.
