Niagara College fully supports inclusion, equity and diversity on all levels, and stands firmly with those fighting racism, inequity, and injustice. We recognize the need to work to push society forward, individually and collectively.
Niagara College, in collaboration with the Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC), is creating a Diversity and Inclusion Taskforce to support a commitment to creating a more inclusive, diverse, and culturally and globally engaged college community.
Members of the Taskforce will include both NC students and employees who will volunteer to work together to research and write a blueprint that will identify the College’s goals for inclusion and diversity, and the broad actions that are required to meet these goals over the next three years. This blueprint will be presented to NC’s Executive Team and will be an important input into the College’s next strategic plan to ensure that this essential work is part of NC’s long-term vision.
The Taskforce will be supported by members of the college community who will serve as Resource People by providing input, guidance, knowledge or expertise to the Taskforce, as required.
