A message from Campus Safety:
On behalf of Campus Safety, and the entire Scheduling Team we would like to thank all the volunteers who graciously, and sometimes at a moment’s notice, volunteered for door access duties.
We heard many positive comments and experiences from those who volunteered, such as the benefit of meeting personnel from the various departments that they would typically not encounter. We also heard that this role gave some staff and faculty a new operational experience, and an opportunity to meet new students from various areas of studies as well as our student ambassadors.

We are pleased to advise that the door access role has now fully transitioned to our dedicated student ambassadors, supported by Paragon Security and Campus Safety personnel when required. We anticipate that this current model of operation will continue; however, we do hope that we will be able to call upon you again should the need arise if the circumstances or protocols surrounding COVID-19 change.
A special thanks to Steve Kosh, Tom Price and all of NC SAC who have made the transition to this current model possible.
