As we continue to closely monitor the status of COVID-19 and related public health measures and directives, Niagara College has determined that the current model of remote and hybrid academic program delivery will continue for the Winter 2021 term, which begins in January.
As with the current Fall term, the delivery for some programs will be entirely remote, while the majority of programs will mix remote delivery with limited on-campus classes/labs, where it is a required element of the program, and it can be delivered safely. This approach supports the ongoing health and safety of our college community, while maintaining the academic quality of our programs.
The delivery mode for individual programs is currently under review, and the Winter 2021 status for all programs (remote or hybrid delivery) will be confirmed by October 15.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has created a need to temporarily modify our traditional program delivery to ensure health and safety, as a learning community we remain committed to academic excellence and student success. Our faculty and staff continue to be innovative in their approach to providing learning experiences that are meaningful and engaging – whether remote, or in person.
Niagara College’s comprehensive set of health and safety measures and protocols will also remain in place for any on-campus activity in the Winter 2021 term.
Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding as we continue to navigate challenging times. Further information regarding the Winter 2021 term will be provided as it becomes available.
