Knowing how to price your work is one of the biggest challenges female entrepreneurs face.
That was one of several topics Sarah Singleton discussed on a recent episode of Next Niagara’s We Are Next videocasts. Singleton was a guest on the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce production, which focused on pursuing passion projects.
In addition to being the program co-ordinator for the college’s Centre for Student Engagement and Leadership, Singleton is the co-founder of Females Who Side Hustle and co-host of the Save Her Seat podcast, where she interviews women entrepreneurs about their self-employment experiences.
“We always struggle on the entrepreneur side to know your worth and what price to ask … or even pricing a product if you are a maker,” Singleton told We Are Next host Kevan Peters. “You always find yourself second-guessing. That’s a struggle we face — having that confidence to know your worth.”
The 10-minute interview is available on the chamber’s YouTube channel.
