Niagara College’s Virtual Spring Convocation continues to make local news with YourTV’s Mike Balsom interviewing NC president Sean Kennedy on May 20.
During the interview, Kennedy explains that the virtual convocation ceremonies will be live streamed and highly interactive in an effort to showcase NC’s DNA. He notes that the ceremonies will remain grouped by program area, as they would have been for a face-to-face celebration, and that he will be live streamed from campus, along with Steve Hudson, NC’s senior vice president, Academic and Learner Services, to go through the ceremonial aspects of convocation to officially confer students.
Kennedy also mentions that the ceremonies will include a line up of notable speakers and that each graduating student will receive a celebratory package in the mail that includes their credentials and NC alumni swag.
