With the province’s decision to reopen garden centres and nurseries this week, YourTV‘s Mike Balsom interviewed NC’s Al Unwin, dean, School of Environmental and Horticultural Studies, about current operations at the College’s Teaching Greenhouse during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unwin notes that students, although not currently on campus, had a direct role in growing the plants that are now available for curbside pickup. He encourages customers to visit the greenhouse’s website where they will find a healthy selection of the plants that would normally be offered during this time of year.
