New sessions added: COE webinar series for employees

A message from the Centre for Organizational Excellence (COE):

As we all work to navigate these uncertain times, we understand employees may be looking for additional support, strategies, and resources. COE is pleased to share additional sessions in our webinar series designed to support employees with the key challenges they are facing as they parent, support seniors in their lives, maintain their focus at work, and try to take care of themselves in a time that is anything but normal.

Each 45-minute webinar will offer valuable tips and helpful strategies and will be interactive with opportunities for participants to ask questions of our guests. Each webinar will also be recorded and made accessible after it is complete, so those who are unable to attend the webinar live will still have an opportunity to watch it at their convenience.

Tuesday, April 28, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Caring for yourself and your family during COVID: Managing your compassion fatigue
Thursday, April 30, 2 to 3 p.m.
Guest: Laura Hughes, speaker and facilitator supporting your mental health and self-care

Home ergonomics
Tuesday May 5, 1 to 2 p.m.
Guest: Jessica McGillis, M.Sc., R.Kin, CPE Owner, Certified Ergonomist

Mindfulness and Meditation
Thursday, May 7, 3 to 4 p.m.
Guest: Michelle Macintosh, counsellor, Health, Wellness and Accessibility
