Niagara College retiree Hans Miethig has passed away on April 15 at the age of 95.
Niagara College extends its deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Miethig became an instructor in the Construction Engineering program during the College’s early days in 1968 and became well known for his generous spirit, love for teaching and support for his students. After he retired, an award was established in his honour through the donations of faculty, staff and his students: the Hans Miethig Founders Award.
