Cogeco Your TV’s Mike Balsom interviewed NC alumnus Andres Coimbra Castedo, one sixth of Six Pillars Studio, comprised of Niagara College students and graduates who launched their first video game to gaming platform Steam. Their inaugural release “The Fallen” follows a knight’s quest for redemption.
Coimbra, who describes himself as an artist, discusses the vision behind the game. The coverage features clips of game play. Other students fulfilled the role of programmers. Coimbra says their team worked 12 to 16 hours some days in order to meet their timeline for launch.
Coimbra says the Six Pillars team is taking advantage of the time of physical distancing to take creative strides.
