Jennifer Piccirillo, a Practical Nursing program student, was recognized in the Niagara Eventide monthly newsletter for her work during a clinical placement at Eventide Home as part of the CLIN 1230 class.

Eventide’s Director of Spiritual and Religious Care, Renee Clark, mentions that while there are many students seen within the home, Jennifer Piccirillo, managed to set herself apart from the rest when she took the time to keep one of the palliative residents company at a difficult time when family members were unable to be present, and shares the captured moment on page 15 of the monthly newsletter.

Clinical Nurse supervisor Tess Tess said, “Jennifer is a truly dedicated young lady. She is so excited about what she is learning in our nursing program. It is moments like this that the passion and care of our Practical Nursing students can be authentically seen, making the College proud to see students becoming the caring and dedicated professionals that we strive to produce.”
