The Aurora Armoury – part classroom, part event space, part kitchen — brings the right ingredients to Aurora

NC’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute’s new presence at the Aurora Armoury is in the media spotlight.

An article posted by the Toronto Star on December 30, 2019, highlighted the Canadian Food and Wine Institute’s new offerings at the Aurora Armoury, which officially opened in November 2019 thanks to a new partnership with the Town of Aurora.

The CFWI is offering short-term and part-time culinary, wine and beer classes, as well as catering and a community event space, in Aurora’s newly restored historic Armoury.

The Star article includes comments from Jeffrey Steen, manager of part-time studies and corporate training at the CFWI; Soohyeong Lee, who runs the kitchen at the Aurora Armoury; as well as representatives from the Town of Aurora.
