The President’s Holiday Reception on December 17 is highly anticipated for many reasons, one being the cheque presentation for the College-wide United Way Campaign.
With just a week to go until the donation deadline, now is your last chance to make a meaningful contribution to the College’s fundraising efforts for United Way.

There are other ways to make a contribution. One dollar from every poinsettia purchase at the Teaching Greenhouse will be donated to United Way Niagara. Six inch plants are available for $7.99, and 10 inch plants are $17.99.
There are still a few final prize draws for anyone who has donated $25 or more, including a six-month parking pass.
NC’s United Way organizing committee is so grateful for everyone’s support this year, with new fundraising events and partnerships, and overwhelming generosity from staff, faculty, administration and students through individual and departmental donations – both monetary and through support for the many fundraisers. A recent example includes the great many departments who donated gift baskets which were raffled at the School of Allied Health Studies’ Pasta Luncheon on November 28. That fundraiser alone – a joint effort with The Core – raised $1,591 – just one of the creative and well-organized fundraising events for United Way this year.
We look forward to announcing the fundraising total at the President’s Holiday Reception, and more importantly, celebrating what was a truly collaborative fundraising effort and a testament to the College’s giving spirit.
