Join NC and come out to Olee’s Ale House in St. Catharines for an all-you-can-eat breakfast (for a donation) on Sunday, January 5 from 9 a.m. to noon to support the NC Knights and the Niagara Peninsula Foundation for Children.
Niagara sports reporter Rod Mawhood will be broadcasting the Niagara Sports Sport on Newstalk 610 CKTB radio from Olee’s in honour of the shows’ two-year anniversary.
Mawhood has invited the Knights, the Brock Badgers and the Ridley Tigers to participate in a competition-style fundraising event with proceeds going to the Niagara Peninsula Foundation for Children. Athletes will compete as servers on Sunday morning, and whichever school brings in the most customers or spends the most will win.
The winning school will host Mawhood’s Sunday morning show live on campus for a future show.
