Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) Lord Mayor Betty Disero wrote a column for Niagara Now in which she highlighted men in the community who have a positive impact on their families, communities and the world. International Men’s Day Nov. 19) seeks to highlight positive male role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being. Among Disero’s list of “great men” of NOTL, she notes Niagara College President Dan Patterson a “role model.”
