NC students, staff and visitors can help make a child’s holiday season a bit more special thanks to a new project offered by Niagara College’s Student Administrative Council (NCSAC), which is collecting donated toys in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara’s Holiday Toy Drive.

Until Dec. 10, the College community is encouraged to help fill 2 large bins – one at each campus – with new toys that will be distributed at the annual Boys and Girls Club Christmas party. Bins are located outside the NCSAC offices at each campus, and donations can be made at any time, even when NCSAC offices are closed.

“This collaborative partnership highlights the NCSAC commitment to support not only our student community, but our local community and not for profit organizations as well,” said NCSAC president Tom Price. “The Boys and Girls club is one of Canada’s largest child and youth serving agencies that provide children with a brighter future. Community initiatives such as this are important to NCSAC because it allows for young children to dream big. NCSAC hopes that with our support, post-secondary education is part of their dreams and bright future.”
