An article posted to Food Service and Hospitality on Nov. 11 covered the re-release of Juno, a commemorative wartime-inspired beer out of NC’s Teaching Brewery, just in time for Remembrance Day.
The news coverage mentioned staff and students in the Teaching Brewery and representatives from the local Royal Canadian legion branches who met to celebrate the beer on Nov. 7 and honour those who served.
Juno took inspiration from a recipe made by St. Austell Brewery in England during WWII. The three-per-cent pale ale met the legal limit for alcohol during WWII, put in place by the government , and incorporates heritage hop varieties and ingredients used in the original recipe.
