Cindy Andrews returned to her role as International Contract Training manager in August.

A message from Justin Williams, Global Education and Partnerships director:

I’m very pleased to announce that Cindy Andrews returned to her role as International Contract Training manager this August.

Cindy resumes her previous position after spending two and a half years in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) working at Niagara College’s global campuses, further developing key skills such as leadership, cultural competence, adaptability and perseverance.

In 2016, she began her NCKSA journey as the Principal of NC’s Al Majma’ah Campus. The campus had an enrollment of 45 students when Niagara College assumed possession. During her year and a half in this role, enrollment numbers grew to approximately 275 under Cindy’s leadership. At that time, she was asked to transfer to Al Ahsaa to assume the role of Campus Principal of a college with enrollment of over 1,800 students.

Cindy has a long history with the College and has held various positions over the past 17 years. Beginning in Continuing Education and working out of the Maid of the Mist Campus, she was responsible for part-time studies in Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary. She was the project manager of the Tourism Industry Development Centre and was responsible Maid of the Mist Campus operations. The campus offered a number of community access programs for youth, newcomers, unemployed, under employed and women re-entering the workforce. She also managed the Enhanced Language Training for Employment program and, for a short time, through the NC Job Centre.

I am very confident that Cindy’s diverse background, past work experiences and cultural intelligence will continue to greatly benefit Global Education and Partnerships.

Please join me in extending warm Niagara College welcome back to Cindy.
