Education News Canada shared the news out of NC’s Teaching Winery in which they earned four medals – a gold, two silvers, and a bronze – at the 25th annual Ontario Wine Awards. Each of the medals was awarded for a 2017 wine that has never before been entered into a competition.
The winning wines were:
- Gold medal: 2017 Gastronomy Chardonnay (Oaked Chardonnay Award Under $20 category);
- Silver medals: 2017 Balance Syrah (Quench Magazine Syrah/Shiraz award), and 2017 Gastronomy Fume Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc/ Semillion);
- Bronze medal: 2017 Balance Gewurztraminer (Gewurtztraminer category).
