Education News Canada shared an excerpt from NC’s release on their connection to the first beer release from Wayne Gretzky Estates in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The Teaching Brewery was the site where trial batches were tested by master brewer and distiller Joshua Beach who led the project, creating and fine-tuning the recipe. Students in the Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program assisted by being part of the trial process.
The end result was the new No. 99 Rye Lager, a crisp and zesty beer with the unique taste of rye.
