Food Service and Hospitality shared the latest release from the Teaching Brewery: Juno Pale Ale, a special student-crafted beer to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day. The article notes that this is the second heritage beer from NC. Butler’s Bitter — an award-winning English pale ale — was its first, inspired by the brew consumed by British armies during the War of 1812.

NC’s Steve Gill, general manager of the College’s Learning Enterprises speaks about how this project brought history to life for NC brewmaster students. The piece talks about the collaboration between NC brewmaster Jon Downing and director of Brewing at St. Ausell, Roger Ryman.

On June 2, Juno was served at many Royal Canadian Legion branches in Niagara during Decoration Day celebrations to honour veterans and those still serving.
