Niagara This Week reported on President Dan Patterson’s announcement that he will leave Niagara College after nearly 25 years following the end of his current term on June 30, 2020. The May 28 piece features a photo of Patterson from 2017 at the College’s 50th anniversary cerebration.
Under Patterson’s leadership, the College has grown tremendously, including enrolment growth from 4,500 in 1995 to 13,000 in 2019.
Patterson will remain active in post-secondary education, focusing on advocacy for colleges, mentorship to leaders and students, and offering expertise in international education.
