The St. Catharines Standard (and their affiliate news agencies) announced the fresh summer release from NC’s Teaching Distillery, School Spirits Small Batch Gin, as the first graduating class from the Artisan Distilling program nears the end of their eight months of studies.

Head Distiller David Dickson comments on the burgeoning cocktail scene and gin being a trendy addition to the Teaching Distillery’s product line, including School Spirits Vodka and School Spirits Eau-de-vie de Fruits. Dickson describes the gin as classic, sweet, and with a modern twist, distilled with botanicals like juniper and coriander to give it notes of floral, citrus and spice.

School Spirits Small Batch Gin is sold at Niagara College’s Wine Visitor and Education Centre, priced at $28.10 for a 375-millilitre bottle.
