Education News Canada shared the latest on a new release from NC’s Teaching Distillery, a small-batch gin hand-crafted by students. The gin is the product of eight months of experiential learning by the Artisan Distilling program’s 16 students and is the third release for the inaugural class, following it’s vodka and fruit spirit.

To create the gin, students put their sensory knowledge and skills to the test in mashing, fermentation and distillation. Head Distiller David Dickson describes the gin as being brewed with “high-quality botanicals, giving the product classic gin notes with a craft gin feel.”
