Further to previous messages, technical issues with the college’s voicemail have been resolved and the system is now back online. We thank you for your patience.
Please note the following changes now apply:
- You need to record your greeting(s) and name for personal verification as all greetings have been deleted from the new voicemail system
- To record your personal greeting(s) and name:
- log in to your mailbox, by default your messages play
- enter 8 for Mailbox Commands
- enter 2 for Greetings Options
- enter 1 for Record Personal Greeting and follow the prompts
- enter 9 for Record Name Greeting for personal verification and follow the prompts
- optional – you can record a different greeting for internal callers (otherwise your Personal Greeting will play for both internal and external callers)
- enter 2 for Record a Personal Greeting for an Internal Caller and follow the prompts
- If you have not yet logged in to Officelinx voicemail your mailbox has a new default password “7352211”
- The first time you log in to Officelinx a tutorial will play guiding you to change your default password
- A special Direct HELP Hotline x4357 has been set up to offer assistance to anyone experiencing difficulty with the new voicemail system – If phoning remotely or via mobile phone, please dial 905-735-2211 x4357 – If you have other ITS issues please continue to call x7642
