A message from Michele O’Keefe, associate director, Athletics and Recreation.
I am pleased to welcome Lindsay English into our Athletics and Recreation department in the role of athletics communications and events coordinator. Lindsay began her role on March 25.
Lindsay graduated from Fanshawe College’s Corporate Communications and Public Relations program in 2010. She has been involved with post-secondary athletics ever since she interned at Western University’s athletic department in 2010. In 2012, she moved to Calgary, Alberta, where she started her career as a Communications Coordinator at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology – Trojans Athletic Department.
She moved on to working with St. Mary’s University in Calgary. She had a unique experience at St. Mary’s University, which had a small student population and a still-fresh athletic department.
She has served in different roles for the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference: being a member of the Marketing and Communications Committee, Make Some Noise for Mental Health committee, and temporary position as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
Prior to moving back to Ontario, she worked as the Communications Coordinator for Swim Alberta.
Lindsay brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team and the position.
She will be an asset to helping the NC Knights reach a new level of success.
