On March 13, The Niagara Falls Review reported that NC associate director, Athletics and Recreation, Michele O’Keefe has been selected as the Welland sportsperson of 2018 for her work promoting basketball both regionally and nationally. O’Keefe will accept the H.L. Cudney Memorial Award at the City of Welland athletic banquet on Friday, April 5 at Casa Dante.
