The Centre for Student Engagement & Leadership (CSEL) is excited to host another Get Involved Week at Niagara College from March 11-15.
Get Involved Fair is an incredible opportunity for college departments and community organizations to showcase the many ways in which students can get involved on-and-off campus. Students will be able to network with services on campus as well as organizations from the Niagara community. Fifteen off-campus vendors and five on-campus vendors will participate.
Events include volunteer fairs at both the Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake campuses.
Volunteer fairs
On- and off-campus vendors will exhibit together, giving students the opportunity to learn about many different volunteer opportunities.
On-Campus Vendors are for students to come and speak with various departments, services and co-curricular programs on campus, such as Peer Mentoring, LEAD, Sustainability, NC Take Off etc. and learn how they can get involved on campus. Students can visit the Get Involved – Co-Curricular Record (CCR) table to learn which opportunities can be included on their CCR.
Off-Campus Vendors give students an opportunity to speak with numerous community partners from the Niagara region about volunteering with their organization, and help students gain hands-on experience related to their field of study.
