NC staff and faculty are invited to share their feedback through a new online NC Employee Engagement Survey.
At Niagara College, employee engagement surveys have been an important part of the strategy of continuous improvement for over ten years, and over that time, have led to positive changes in the workplace. This new survey provides employees with a chance to give their input on various aspects of their workplace, including communication, leadership, the college’s focus on student success and more. This valuable data will help to create a picture of how employees engage with the organization and in turn, help the college find opportunities to improve employee engagement. To implement the survey, the College has partnered with TalentMap, a Canadian company specializing in employee surveys.
Here’s how it works:
- The survey is open from Wednesday, February 6 until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20.
- All full time and part time staff and faculty with an ongoing assignment throughout the Winter term are invited to participate.
- Employees should have received an email from TalentMap with their own specific link to the survey.
- The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
- Responses will be kept confidential, and will be delivered directly to TalentMap – the college will not have access to any raw data, or any information that could be used to identify an individual (and only combined group results will be shared)
The survey results will be shared with the College community in the spring of 2019, and followed up with planning sessions to help each department understand, interpret and where appropriate, action the results.
