External Relations welcomes two new staff members: Jessica Torok and Elyse Howarth

A message from Greg Medulun, vice-president, External Relations:

I am pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members to External Relations.

Jessica Torok, communications specialist

Jessica Torok is the newest addition to our Communications team. She took on the position of communications specialist on December 4. In her new role, Jessica will handle the day-to-day coordination of our communications channels, work with a portfolio of internal clients, generate written content and handle event logistics.

Most recently, Jessica worked for the Town of Rosetown, Saskatchewan as a community and business development manager. She arrives at Niagara College with post-secondary communications experience, as a former communications officer at Western University as well as the University of Saskatchewan. She has also worked as a liaison officer (recruitment) at Western.

Elyse Howarth, donor and alumni communications assistant

Elyse Howarth has joined Development and Alumni Relations in a part-time role as donor and alumni communications assistant.

In Development and Alumni Relations, Elyse Howarth is our new donor and alumni communications assistant.

The focus of Elyse’s new role, which she began on December 3, is to provide administrative coordination and support for alumni engagement, donor communications and stewardship, fundraising, and departmental communications projects.

Elyse has a BA in Communications from Brock University. Over the past eight years, she has held communications positons with the Niagara Health Foundation, most recently as a communications and marketing officer.

Elyse will be working Monday to Wednesday in this part-time position. She is located in the Niagara Corporate Business Centre, Suite 303, and may be reached at extension 7841 or [email protected].
