Leaders from some of North America’s top cannabis producers and companies will gather at Niagara College’s Niagara-at-the-Lake Campus to discuss the present and future of cannabis legalization in Canada and the United States, at a special panel discussion on the evening of Sept. 10.
Hosted by ncTakeOff, Niagara College’s entrepreneurship hub, as well as the School of Environment and Horticulture, the event will allow guests to hear unique Canadian and American perspectives on what the future holds for the cannabis industry as legalization of the plant in Canada approaches.
Panelists include:
- April Pride, founder of Van der Pop
- Cy Scott, CEO of Headset and co-founder of Leafly
- Alex Cooley, co-founder of Solstice Growth
- Jason Fleming, vice-president of human resources at MedReleaf
- Jennifer Maccarone, chief quality officer at UP Cannabis
The panel discussion is open to the entire college community and the general public, and will be held in the Yerich Auditorium at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 10. Register your attendance on Eventbrite
