L-R: Chartwells Regional Vice President Kevin Booth and General Manager Maggie Bartold, NC Vice-President of Corporate Services Pam Skinner and Niagara College President Dan Patterson, and Chartwells District Manager Marwan El Chafei celebrate Chartwells support of NC students with a special cheque presentation in the new Welland Campus Student Commons on Sept. 6

As students were welcomed to a brand new student commons at the Welland Campus, so too were they welcomed with a renewed sign of support from the College’s caterer, Chartwells. Over the last five years, Chartwells has donated over $23,000 per year in financial supports for students, which include the Chartwells Scholarship for students in the School of Hospitality and Tourism, contributions to the Be World Ready fund, support of the College’s Golf Classic and Seafood Gala as well as the Event Management program’s annual Many Hands project.

Chartwells and Niagara College celebrated a renewed commitment to continue that level of student support for an additional five years, bringing the total contribution and pledge to $230,000. NC thanks Chartwells for their contribution to supporting growth and enhancing the student experience at Niagara College.
