A message from Steve Hudson, vice president, Academic and Learner Services:
I’m pleased to announce that Vincent Shaikh has accepted the position of dean, Media, Trades and Technology, and will start August 20.
Vincent comes to Niagara from Humber College, where he provided academic leadership to more than 130 faculty and staff as associate dean, School of Applied Technology.
Vincent brings more than 12 years of industry and academic experience to his new role at Niagara. Prior to joining Humber in 2013, he held leadership positions at Bell Canada in software development, design and technology solutions.
A college graduate, he earned an advanced diploma in Computing Science from Algonquin College. Vincent also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science – Software Engineering from the University of Ottawa (SITE) and a Masters of Engineering from Ryerson University.
We look forward to having Vincent’s leadership within the MTT Division working with internal and external stakeholders to prepare our students and staff for the future of our programs encouraging research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
