A message from the Library and Learning Commons:
Please join the Library and Learning Commons (LLC) staff to celebrate Ralph Laird’s retirement.
Ralph joined the College as campus librarian for the NOTL Campus in 1998 and has served students, faculty, and staff very well for the past 20 years. If you’ve had the pleasure of working with Ralph, then you know that he is generous with his time and knowledge, and will do everything in his power to ensure success. It is for this dedication and work ethic he will always be known and we will certainly miss it when he leaves. We know that in his retirement, he will be cycling, enjoying some wine, and will be found out in his gardens.
In lieu of gifts, Ralph has established a student bursary named the Horticulture Student Travel Bursary Fund. Ralph’s initial introduction to NC was via the Landscape and Horticulture certificate and the intention of the bursary is to help a student in the Horticulture program who would like to participate in the Be World Ready trip. We hope that you will consider making a donation in Ralph’s name to this very worthy bursary. To donate click here: donate.niagaracollege.ca/ways-to-give/
The LLC staff will host a good-bye celebration on Friday June 29 (his last day) in the NOTL Campus LLC. Please join us for a coffee break from 1-3 p.m .to wish Ralph well in his retirement.
