A branding makeover has revealed a new name for Niagara College’s on-campus spa: the NC Teaching Spa.

Formerly called Niagara Waters Spa, the new name was designed to better align with the College’s other learning enterprises – including the NC Teaching Hair Salon, NC Teaching Winery, NC Teaching Brewery, and more.

“We are excited about the change and feel that this new name better represents our role in the College as well as our role to the Esthetician students enrolled in our program,” said Sandra Maude, manager of the NC Teaching Spa.  “We feel our new name, the NC Teaching Spa, will help us reach our clients and reinforce our role as educators within our enterprise.”

Staff and faculty are reminded to use the new name, NC Teaching Spa, in all future references to the spa.

The NC Teaching Spa is an educational spa serviced by students in the College’s Esthetician program. The NC Teaching Spa offers a variety of services including manicures, pedicures, skin care, skin resurfacing, massage, hair removal, make-up, lash and brow tinting and more.

Like all of the College’s learning enterprises, the NC Teaching Spa is open to the public and proceeds from sales support student learning.
