Fred Deys takes on permanent role as associate dean, School of Technology

Fred Deys has taken on a permanent role as associate dean, School of Technology.

A message from Marc Nantel, interim dean, Media, Trades and Technology Division:

It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Fred Deys to the position of associate dean, School of Technology.

Fred comes to us with an extensive background and experience in the college sector, starting as a professor, initially at Niagara College and then at Mohawk College. He then became the director, Compensation and Academic Labour Relations at Mohawk College. He has also worked with Georgian College as a consultant.

Fred joined Niagara College in October 2017 in the interim role of associate dean, School of Technology.  Fred also served as a member and chair of the Board of Directors of the Hamilton Entertainment and Convention Facilities, as well as a member of the CAAT Pension Plan Sponsors’ Committee.

Please join me in welcoming Fred to this permanent appointment as part of the Niagara College vommunity and the Media, Trades and Technology team.
