Don’t miss spring BioBlitz at NOTL Campus April 14

Join the BioBlitz on April 14 and help identify the different plant and animal species on campus, such as the juvenile barn swallow pictured here.

Join NC’s Office of Sustainability for a spring BioBlitz event.

A BioBlitz is a community approach to identifying as many plant and animal species on a property, over a specified period of time. Niagara College is hosting our 3rd Annual spring BioBlitz on Saturday April 14, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus. College students, staff and community residents are invited to attend this free event and help collect information to help inform a species inventory of the campus.

Participants are welcome to come for an hour or stay for the day. The goal is to collect species information to better understand all of the organisms living on campus and to monitor how biodiversity is changing over time.
