Returning to school teaches ‘Don’t give up’

An article posted by the Brantford Expositor on February 21 features Niagara College graduate Marsha Haalstra.

The article highlights how the 37-year-old Dunville resident continued her education at NC 15 years after graduating from high school and her successful journey to achieving her goal of becoming a personal support worker.

Haalstra graduated from NC’s Personal Support Worker program last October. Prior to enrolling in PSW, she completed academic upgrading classes at NC which helped her to gain acceptance into the program. Since graduation, she has been working as a PSW at two long-term care facilities in Dunnville.
