An article posted by Niagara This Week highlighted the Advocating for Black Excellence Awards of Niagara (ABEAN) which was held on February 9. This was the second event, organized by Welland-based Tools of Empowering for Success (TOES) Niagara, held to celebrate the successes and contributions of Niagara’s black community.
A keynote speaker for the event was Madi Fuller, project manager for the Niagara College’s entrepreneurship and innovation hub ncTakeOff, who provided inspiration to Niagara’s youth.
