Feb. 6: Weather alert for Niagara

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Niagara on Tuesday, February 6 with snowfall of 10 to 15 cm expected overnight and into Wednesday. General snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are expected by the time the snow tapers off on Wednesday afternoon.

While the snow amounts are expected below the snowfall warning criteria of 15 cm or more within 12 hours, the timing of the snowfall could affect road conditions and visibility, especially during the Wednesday morning commute.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution. Please take extra care when travelling to and from our campuses and allow extra time as necessary.
