College prepares for Quality Assurance site visit

A message from David Veres, associate vice president, Academic and Learner Services:

Over the past year the college community has been preparing for the College Quality Assurance Audit Process (CQAAP) which is overseen by the Ontario College Quality Assurance Service (OCQAS). During this time, the Centre for Academic Excellence coordinated the collection of information and examples that support our academic quality processes. This involved the engagement of many individuals and areas across the College, as well as feedback from the College’s Academic Quality Assurance Committee.

The College submitted its required Self-Study on March 20 and is now preparing for our site visit on May 30 and 31. As part of our preparation, we will be engaging students, graduates, staff, faculty, and key stakeholders to be part of the site visit.

Please feel free to connect with me if you have any questions about the audit or the process at dveres@niagaracollege.ca
