Excellence in advocacy recognized


An article featured in Niagara This Week on February 14 features NC Dental Assisting grad (2002) Tumadir Al Hilaly, who  was recognized for advocating excellence in her community on February 10 at  the first annual Advocating for Excellence Awards at Riverstone Event Centre in honour of Black History Month. The event, organized by the council and TOES Niagara, recognized the contributions of Afro-Canadians to the Niagara community.

NC faculty member, Ethiopian born Dr. Dawit Eshetu, was also among the nominees for the awards.
