Student Services welcomes counsellor Katia Coholan

Counsellor Katia Coholan is the newest addition to NC's Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services team.

A message from Sheryl Johns, manager of Student Services:
The Student Services Division is pleased to introduce counsellor Katia Coholan to the Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services team. Katia joined Niagara College on October 11.   
 
Katia brings over 20 years of experience in the field of social work and clinical mental health, and she is eager to support student success at Niagara College.  Most recently, Katia was a member of the Well and McMaster Family Health Centre, providing counselling services to a diverse population of clients within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
 
Katia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English from Duke University, North Carolina and a Masters of Social Work degree from Tulane University, New Orleans. She is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers (RSW designation) and a long-time board member of Design for a New Tomorrow.
 
Katia’s office is located at the Welland Campus – Room AH125.  Please join the Student Services Division in welcoming Katia to our Niagara College team.
