I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Murrell as associate dean – School of Trades effective August 2. Jeff has a breadth of experience that combines industry, teaching and academic leadership.

Prior to joining Lambton College, Jeff spent several years at Dana Corporation in Thorold holding different roles that included maintenance electrician, maintenance manager and purchasing manager. In 2007 he was given a one-year special assignment to implement LEAN manufacturing principles at a Dana facility in the United States.

Jeff has an advanced diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology and has a Certificate of Qualification (CFQ) in the Electrician trade. Through Niagara College’s Part-Time Studies, Jeff has also taken several courses, including AutoCAD, Advanced PLC Programming, Hydraulics and Robotics.
