NC president Dan Patterson (left), and dean, Academic and Liberal Studies Fiona Allan (right), were recently honoured when Ontario minister of economic development, employment and infrastructure, Brad Duguid (centre), presented the College with a mentorship award from the Niagara Immigrant Connections Initiative, a partnership between the college and NICI on programs for newcomers with a focus on language training. The award was presented at the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce economic development lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake where Duguid was the featured speaker.
