CE unveils improved website

Searching for a Part-Time Studies class to take just got easier.

The College’s CE website now features a new ‘Explore Courses’ tool. The new tool allows customers to view a full list of CE courses which are open for registration, as well as those which have been scheduled for a future date (but aren’t open for registration yet).

To access the tool from the CE website, click on the new ‘Courses and Registration’ tab. The ‘Explore Courses’ tool within the tab now allows customers to:

·         *Search by course title or keyword or course code;

·         *Search by interest; and

·          *Filter results to display only on campus, off campus, online, day, evening, or new courses. Courses can also be filtered specific to campus locations.

Courses of interest can be bookmarked and customers can return to them later to register. All classes now provide customers with the date when registration closes, so they can return to register later.

The way classes and class details appear has also been revised. It’s now easier to understand, and simple and faster to browse available classes and understand what options are available.

Future classes are listed with full details, including price. Customers are provided with the date that registration opens for each class, so they can return later and register for a date/time that works for them.

All registration information pages have been revised and bundled into the new course search tool – found by clicking ‘Courses and Registration’ or ‘Find a Course’ tab on the CE  homepage – making all information easier to find and understand.

All interfaces have been redesigned to be modern, mobile-friendly, intuitive and easy-to-use.

For part-time programs, program delivery (curriculum) is now displayed using a new method which better guarantees the accuracy of availability information for each required course.

The shopping cart remains the same. It is a secure payment gateway that allows customers to register and pay for courses/classes found through the site’s new ‘Explore Courses’ tool.
