A free breakfast is offered to all Niagara College students twice a week as part of NCSAC’s Rise and Shine breakfast program.
The Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) is excited to announce that its Rise and Shine breakfast program has officially returned for the 2015-16 school year.
The Rise and Shine program started last year as an initiative to provide Niagara College students a free, healthy option for breakfast two days per week. Now in its second year, the NCSAC has great expectations for its continued growth.
“We saw a tremendous turnout for the program last year, and are optimistic that its popularity and usage will continue to trend upwards in 2015-16,” said NCSAC president, Shane Malcolm. “We want to encourage students to start their morning on a healthy note, while also using it as a venue to connect with other students on campus.” continued Malcolm.
The program will be served on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Niagara-on-the-Lake (The Armoury), Niagara Falls (Main Hall Servery) and Welland (The Core) campuses from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. It features a continental menu including, but not limited to: croissants, muffins, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, bagels, hard boiled eggs and toast.
