Shane Malcolm, current Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) president, has been re-elected by the current NCSAC board of directors to remain in office for the 2015-16 school year.
Before being elected NCSAC President for his first term in 2014, Shane served the Niagara-on-the-Lake executive team as director of clubs and volunteers and executive vice president.
In total, Shane has been involved with the organization for the last 3 years and he is excited to be back for his fourth.
“I am really honored to be back for another year. NCSAC has had a terrific year around student advocacy on all levels- institutionally, regionally and provincially and I look forward to embracing that drive in year two as well,” said Malcolm.
In his first year as President, Malcolm has been heavily involved in providing advocacy for Niagara College students, most recently for a seamless transit system in Niagara. It is one of the many actions he hopes to continue in his second year.
“I am very proud of all the events, programs and initiatives that we were able to provide this year and I only see a bigger, better and more impactful NCSAC presence on campus and in the community next year,” continued Malcolm.
